Oakridge Wellness CenterThe 52,000 sq. ft Oakridge Wellness Center is the wellness destination for Landings Club members. Our wellness center features two indoor pools (lap and therapy), an outdoor adult pool and hot tub as well as steam rooms, childcare services, tennis courts, multiple studio spaces, expanded free weight and machine areas, a private physical therapy department and therapy pool, and more.Job SummaryThe Fitness Receptionist works with the Fitness Manager to provide a broad range of highly skilled administrative support and must maintain strong interpersonal relationships with Club membership, employees and leadership.Primary Responsibility:

  • Greets members and guests as they enter the Wellness Center.
  • Opens and closes the facility when necessary.
  • Answers and transfers calls in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Informs members of policies and program information.
  • Collects payments and accurately charges member accounts.
  • Issues facility equipment to members as needed (ex. reading trays)
  • Maintains a clean work environment.
  • Performs administrative duties as assigned.
  • Schedules spa services for members and guests.
  • Receives merchandise orders and prints labels.
  • Maintains inventory for smoothie bar, club merchandise and facility supplies.
  • Cleans and organizes merchandise display daily.
  • Participates in a weekly staff meeting.
  • Promotes Wellness activities and collects scheduling information from members.
  • Sells, advertises and possesses knowledge of displayed merchandise along with all promotions and sales.
  • Generates daily shift sales report when/if required to close.
  • Updates, reviews and orders first aid supplies.
  • Responds to all emails in a timely fashion and addresses concerns, issues, requests made by members and staff.
  • Washes and folds towels as needed.
  • Reports any equipment issues to a supervisor.
  • Enforces all gym rules and policies.
  • Complies with club policies and procedures.
  • Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and or holidays.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Current CPR, AED, First Aid certification or be able to complete within 30 days of employment
    • Previous administrative assistant experience, a plus.Critical Skills
      • Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
      • Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
      • Must have the willingness to provide exceptional service to members.
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide variety of people.Physical Demands
        • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
        • Bending and stooping 80% of work day.
        • Sits and stands for 95% of work day.
