Job DescriptionAltrus/Help at Home is hiring a Business Development and Marketing Representative! Altrus is now a part of the Help at Home family of companies. The main focus of the Business Development and Marketing Representative position is to develop and identify referrals for our family-model Personal Care Homes. They are also responsible for providing support to the Regional Vice President and State Director. Work hours for this role are typically Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM OR 8:30AM - 5:30PM. Responsibilities ALS and General Altrus Support Responsibilities: * Assist with communication for Personal Care Homes * Request necessary documents * Relay important information * Follow up on any issues * Notify homes of upcoming trainings and participate in trainings, as needed Home Development & Referral Responsibilities: * Promptly respond to all general inquiries from potential home providers to determine their needs and the home providers' potential and suitability * Enroll new home providers for the appropriate programs by: * Gathering all necessary paperwork for application submission * Conducting the initial orientation * Conducting pre-placement evaluations and ongoing trainings * Add new homes in designated areas by specific programs * Assist in coordinating appropriate client placements by being an active part of the referral assessment team * Identify new relationships and maintain current relationships with referral sources to meet program objective needs Administrative Responsibilities: * Answers phone calls * Complete home studies, as needed * Assist with other administrative tasks, as needed * Act as "back-up" support to other administrative staff, as needed Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required * 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or a client record management role * Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or a related field OR at least 2 years of experience in nursing home care, assisted living/personal care, or waiver program admissions preferred * Professional communication skills in all forms of communication * Intermediate or advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs * Valid driver's license * Access to reliable transportation, along with auto insurance * Availability to travel for occasional overnight trips * Knowledge of personal care homes, waiver programs and HIPAA compliance preferred * Ability to manage and monitor large amounts of data * Ability to cross-train in other program areas In order to be employed as a Business Development and Marketing Representative, candidates must comply with state background screening requirements.
