Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher
position serving students in grades K-12 within a public school
setting in Charleston, SC. The assignment runs from ASAP through
May 29, 2026, and requires full-time availability Monday through
Friday. The position involves working at multiple schools,
specifically Liberty Hill Academy and Ladson Elementary School. At
Liberty Hill Academy, the focus is on teaching students with
intellectual disabilities and autism in a structured classroom
environment. The teacher will collaborate closely with a Teaching
Assistant, a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and an on-site
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). At Ladson Elementary
School, the role involves providing resource support to special
education students. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and
implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to
student needs. - Delivering instruction and behavioral supports
that meet the diverse needs of students with intellectual
disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). - Collaborating
effectively with classroom support staff and behavioral
specialists. - Monitoring student progress and adapting strategies
as needed. Required qualifications: - Active South Carolina state
licensure for Special Education teaching. - Multi-Categorical
licensure is preferred. - Experience working with students
diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities,
and challenging behaviors. - Strong classroom management and
