Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education
Teacher position within a K-12 school setting located in Mount
Pleasant, SC. The assignment spans from ASAP through May 29, 2026,
on a Monday to Friday schedule. The role involves working on-site
and supporting students with diverse learning needs, particularly
those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual
disabilities. Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized
instruction to students with special needs in both resource and
autism-specific classrooms. - Collaborate closely with teaching
assistants, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Board
Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior plans and
classroom strategies. - Develop and modify lesson plans tailored to
student abilities and IEP goals. - Monitor student progress and
participate in IEP meetings to drive educational outcomes. -
Maintain a positive and structured learning environment in
alignment with best practices for special education. Desired
Qualifications and Experience: - Active South Carolina state
licensure for Special Education; a multi-categorical license is
preferred. - Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum
Disorder and intellectual disabilities is highly desirable. -
Strong classroom management skills within a challenging educational
environment. - Ability to collaborate effectively with
interdisciplinary teams to support student needs. Location: -
On-site position based in Mount Pleasant, SC. - Schools assigned
include Liberty Hill Academy (Autism Teacher) and Ladson Elementary
