Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is
available for the 2025-2026 academic year in a K-12 school setting
near Goose Creek, SC. This contract position, running from ASAP
through May 29, 2026, involves working in two schools with diverse
student populations requiring specialized instructional approaches.
Location: Charleston, SC Assignment Schools and Roles: - Liberty
Hill Academy Autism Teacher: This role requires experience
supporting students with intellectual disabilities and autism. The
classroom includes one teaching assistant and one Registered
Behavior Technician (RBT), with on-site Board Certified Behavior
Analyst (BCBA) support. - Ladson Elementary School Resource
Teacher: Providing targeted resource support for students with
special education needs. Qualifications and Desired Experience: -
Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher licensure required;
Multi-Categorical licensure preferred. - Experience working with
behaviors and students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
(ASD) highly preferred. - Ability to manage challenging classroom
environments and collaborate with support staff, including teaching
assistants and behavioral specialists. - Commitment to supporting
students across a range of exceptionalities from K-12.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs. - Deliver instruction in
line with special education best practices, adapting lessons for
intellectual disabilities and autism. - Collaborate within a
multidisciplinary team to foster a positive and productive learning
environment. - Monitor and document student progress and behavior,
using data to inform instruction. This position offers a rich
