Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An
opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide full-time, on-site services within elementary
school settings in Charleston, SC. This travel position involves
supporting students across general education, resource, and Low
Incidence programs while covering a medical and then a maternity
leave through the end of the school year. Responsibilities include:
Delivering speech-language evaluations and therapy to
elementary-aged students Serving students in general education
classrooms, resource settings, and specialized Low Incidence/Autism
programs Collaborating with teachers, families, and
multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs) Maintaining accurate documentation and
caseload management in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Preferred qualifications: Active South Carolina state licensure in
Speech-Language Pathology (no pending licenses accepted)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(SLP-CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CFs) or Speech-Language
Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will not be considered Experience
working with elementary school students and children with diverse
communication needs, including Low Incidence and Autism Spectrum
Disorder Ability to provide service delivery in multiple school
settings This role provides an engaging opportunity to make a
direct impact on student communication skills while gaining
valuable experience across different educational programs.
Assignments will begin as soon as possible and continue until the
end of the current school year (May 29, 2026), initially covering a
medical leave at one school and subsequently a maternity leave at
