Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist
to support elementary and middle school students in a school
setting. This role involves working across two campuses, providing
essential therapy services to enhance students' educational
experiences and developmental progress. Location: - Okatie, South
Carolina (serving two campuses in the Beaufort area) Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week - Contract duration from January through June
Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, and implement occupational
therapy interventions tailored to students' individual needs -
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational
professionals to support student success - Monitor and document
student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly - Provide
consultation and training to school staff as needed to facilitate
inclusive environments - Participate in IEP meetings and contribute
to the development of effective educational strategies Desired
Qualifications: - Certified Occupational Therapist with a focus or
experience in school-based therapy - Strong understanding of
pediatric development and education-related therapy techniques -
Ability to build strong working relationships with students, staff,
and families - Excellent communication and organizational skills -
Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning
