Job Responsibilities:



Leading global manufacturer of forest products and specialty cellulose seeking SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER to perform engineering tasks to optimize mill performance and improve process capability. Provide technical support while implementing new processes and process improvements. Perform broad range of management assignments including operations and financial analysis, strategic planning and business development for plant. Other functions and key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



Manage all phases of Process Engineering projects.
Assist in process engineering, system design, pre-planning and project justification. Ensure project scope is correctly and appropriately defined.
Lead in equipment start-ups including employee training, customer notifications, operational and safety procedures in place, sampling/testing procedures, process/data flow, PM program and troubleshooting.
Evaluates Capital Investment opportunities for plant; estimate approximate costs and benefits of new equipment.
Supports new product/process development teams.
Support Market & Research initiatives.
Lead, support and participate in safety and housekeeping improvements.
Keep up-to-date with technological changes and improvements.
Engineering lead for design reviews, equipment/instrumentations specification reviews and construction planning.
Lead Project Teams; mentor to junior engineers.
Continuous Improvement Leader.
Technical responsibility for product line.



Job Requirements:



BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
5 years' experience in Process Management with strong desire for candidate with pulping and bleaching experience.
Process, operations and financial analysis and management experience.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Team Leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, management and vendors.
Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.



Salary Range: $80k - $100k

Bonus: Yes

Relocation: Yes; negotiable
