this sector.The Process Engineer is responsible for providing
technical support to the EHS, Production, Maintenance and Quality
teams to improve safety, efficiencies, quality, and yield. The
position will also support the development of new processes, lean
initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across the
plants.Your responsibilities:Provides daily technical and process
engineering support to the Production, EHS, Quality and Maintenance
teamsDefines and implements improvements in existing process and
opportunities for new or additional systems.Provides technical
support and problem solving to the manufacturing teams to timely
troubleshoot production issuesMonitors process conditions daily by
evaluating trends and communicates findings to production and
maintenance teamsSupports site sustainability initiatives to meet
JM targetsLeads and/or participates in audits of existing processes
for safety, environmental, and quality on a regular basis.Assures
that effective and efficient process measures are in place.Uses and
supports the company's Management of Change (MOC) procedures. Lead
MOCs from start to finish as directedLeads and/or participates in
formal, documented process reviews of all new projects.Collaborates
with EHS and Quality staff to assure manufacturing processes are
safely designed, audited, and operated in accordance with company
policies and procedures, which includes all appropriate local,
state, and federal regulations and codes.Leads process-related
projects as appropriate.Assures process documentation is complete,
including, but not limited to process flow diagrams (PFD's) (with
material and energy balances), Process and Instrument Drawings
(P&ID's) and process descriptions.Learns and / or applies Lean,
Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement tools and techniques as
required in support of operations Lean effortsAssures process
control systems, including interlocks are properly designed,
implemented, and regularly verified as required.Develops training
material and provides training sessions to operations and
maintenance teamsPerforms other duties as required.Requirements for
the role:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an
accredited school2-5 years' experience in process engineering or
process engineering managementExperience in Process Safety
Management environment desirableLean Six Sigma experience, Green
