Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician Location: Atlanta, GA Industry:
Fire Protection / Life Safety Employment Type: Full-Time Position
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm and Access Control
Technician with proven experience in the installation, maintenance,
and inspection of fire alarm systems, security, access control,
cameras. Key Responsibilities: Install, program, service, and
inspect fire alarm systems, access control Troubleshoot and resolve
system issues, including wiring, device programming, and control
panel diagnostics Ensure systems are installed and maintained in
accordance with NFPA 72, NEC, and local code requirements Conduct
routine maintenance, testing, and inspection of fire alarm systems
Document service and inspection reports accurately and in a timely
manner Communicate with clients, general contractors, and AHJs as
needed Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency
service requests Qualifications: 3 years of experience in fire
alarm installation, maintenance, or inspections Strong knowledge of
NFPA 72 and fire alarm system compliance Ability to read
blueprints, schematics, and technical documents Valid driver’s
license and clean driving record Strong problem-solving skills and
customer-facing communication NICET I, II, III, IV Fire Alarm
Preferred Skills: Experience with additional platforms (Simplex,
Notifier, Siemens, etc.) Familiarity with low-voltage systems,
security, or access control OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus
