Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: Electrical Maintenance Technicians (Direct Placement) Location: Goose Creek, SC Pay: Up to $40/hr shift differential bonuses Benefits: Full medical, dental, and vision starting Day 1 Aerotek is hiring multiple Electrical Maintenance Technicians for direct placement with a large, growing industrial company. This facility offers some of the highest wages in the Charleston area, fully paid insurance, and strong opportunities for advancement into lead and supervisor roles. Job Responsibilities Follow all plant PPE and safety requirements. Work independently while performing routine and complex electrical maintenance. Troubleshoot and maintain motors, generators, transformers, rectifiers, switches, circuit breakers, relays, control systems, and distribution equipment. Use electrical testing and measuring tools safely and effectively. Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Top Candidate Skills Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, RSLogix Knowledge of motors, proximity switches, limit switches, VFD/VSD systems Experience with 480V motor systems. heavy industrial environments (steel, aluminum, nuclear) Benefits 9.58% shift differential (approx. $3/hr) 401(k) with 6% match Quarterly bonus up to 10% (currently averaging 4–6%) Annual $300 tool stipend All uniforms and PPE provided, including prescription safety glasses Free onsite medical clinic Strong internal promotion culture Overtime incentives: 6th consecutive day = 1.75x pay 7th consecutive day = 2x pay Monthly perfect attendance raffle ($250 gift card) Food trucks onsite daily Vacation: 80 hours to start; increases at 3, 5, 10, and 15 years Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $78000.00/yr. - 9.58% shift differential once they move onto swing shift (Approximately an extra 3/hr) - They can test every 6 months to test into higher tech level and get pay increase - Only non-union smelter facility in the U.S - 401K matches 6%. Benefits start on Day 1 (Full medical, dental and vision coverage – very competitive benefits and multiple options. You can get full copy during interview) - $300 tool stipend each year - All uniforms and PPE are provide by company, including prescription safety glasses - Free clinic onsite for check ups or any issues that happen during the day - Quarterly bonus up to 10% of what they have made in total that quarter. This is based on company profitability. They currently are averaging 4-6% per quarter o Quarter bonus is tied to attendance. - HUGE on promoting from within. They have a ton of supervisors/managers who have been there for 30-40 years and nearing retirement. This is agreat opportunity for people coming in to train and develop themselves for those roles - If you work 6 days in a row, on your 6th day you are paid x1.75.
