Pathology Medical Director opportunity to manage Pathology services in HCA--------s Savannah/Jacksonville Market.

Responsibilities: The Savannah/Jacksonville Market consists of Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA; HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL; and HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park FL.
This is a working leadership position to include approximately 75% clinical and 25% administrative responsibilitiesAdministrative duties include participation in committee meetings, scheduling, quality data control, workload distribution and tumor board participation for the assigned marketClinical duties include signing out anatomic pathology cases, frozen sections, FNAs, clinical lab oversight, test utilization oversight, participation in pathologist on-call rotation and blood utilization consultationsThe Market Medical Director will need to build effective working relationships with the administrators and pathologists at each assigned hospitalThe successful candidate will have excellent team building skills and the ability to mentor junior associates.
