Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONTITLE: Food and Beverage ManagerFLSA: ExemptREPORTS TO: Director of Food ServiceJOB SUMMARY The Food and Beverage Manager strategically oversees all food and beverage programs, which include all freshly prepared food, roller grill and dispensed beverage programs. This is a hands-on role that will be responsible directing and organizing the activities of the Food Service Department to ensure brand standards and a safe, high-quality food and beverage product are consistently being met while achieving budgeted revenue, cost and profit goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities:

  • Researches, develops and updates food service programs to stay ahead of the food service industry
  • Daily, weekly and monthly review of overall performance of food service programs
  • Partners with the operations team to effectively manage Parker's kitchen food service strategy
  • Responsible for development of processes and procedures as they relate to food service programs
  • Thoroughly document the results of cook and process yields, record all testing and pertinent analytical information
  • Work with Pricebook team to ensure proper recipe and cost set up for food and beverage programs
  • Implements and supports the execution of food and beverage service, quality, technique, preparation, portion, presentation and cost control.
  • Conducts frequent inspection/analysis/critique of locations
  • Attend interdepartmental meetings as needed to discuss new/existing product and project progress/issues
  • Audit all company operations as they relate to food development including costs and safety
  • Make sure performance reviews occur for staff as required by company standard Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Food Production Management Systems and presentation software
    • Ability to successfully develop scalable and sustaining recipes, menus and programs for multi-unit restaurant concepts
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and effectively cope with change EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS Required:
      • 5+ years prior management experience in a food service operation
      • Must maintain a current, valid, unrestricted driver's license with an insurable driving record
      • Must maintain current Manager Food Safety Certification from ANSI accredited program Preferred:
        • Culinary Degree
        • Chain restaurant R&D experience
        • Previous experience in a multi-unit environment
        • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of food and beverage planning, production and presentation PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
          • Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer
