IndieBrew Distributor Manager - Coastal Georgia/South Carolina LOCATION Savannah, Georgia ABOUT THE ROLE The Distributor Manager is responsible for over delivering against IndieBrew's Sales and Distribution objectives within the footprint of Coastal Georgia and South Carolina. They will be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders including within our distributors across all ranges of responsibilities, Quality Assurance on our products, communicating efficiently externally as well as internally with cross functional teams, executing against brand priorities, and following up on all program initiatives. The position is a senior level position reporting directly to our Director of Sales. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING FOCUS ON QUALITY Our Sales Driver are our people, and this position will be a key influence on our distributor & retail partners as well as being the best teammate possible to all Sales Team counterparts. IndieBrew's Sales Driver is Quality and protecting the integrity of our brands following our brewers' intent. Planning out our business for the long term is as important as a short-term win. Our distributors, retailers, and consumers that we have the opportunity to influence deserve the best possible attention to being 1stas we do not take for granted the opportunity, we have been given to build our brand. Design, communicate, track, and recap all programming initiatives.PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT Manage the meaningful and purposeful relationships with our distributor partners as well as retail buyers in all channels of our business including but not limited to Chain Grocery, C-Store, Drug, Club, Supercenter, and On-Premises accounts. Be the best teammate to your Sales counterparts as well as to all cross functional IndieBrew employees. Communicate brilliantly, both internally and externally, tracking against all expectations set. Understand distributors and retailer needs, managing your time effectively. Work directly with our distributor partners, influencing increasing share of heart and share of mind, demonstrating we can be the best partners to them. Responsibility to train our distributor Sales Teams on our brands, our expectations on a PULL THRU strategy, fact-based selling, and how we go to market in the key account universe. Develop and lead with the very best relationships with our distributor partner's Chain Teams, and gain their ongoing support executing against all of our plans.MARKET DEVELOPMENT Exceed expectations against Market Execution Plans including Sales and Distribution while executing a plan that keeps Quality at the heart of what we do, never sacrificing volume for PULL THRU SMART goals. Build, manage, and exceed expectations around Annual Business Plans and our Annual Operating Plan. Have a deep understanding of the business utilizing data reports and understanding sales trends to create selling stories for our buyers, Sales Team, and distributor (IRI, VIP, Neilson, etc). Track execution against all chain programming with follow-up and follow-thru on all initiatives. Think opportunistically, being a good problem solver regardless of the challenges in front of us. Budget management including Trade Spending, POS, Marketing Budgets, T and E, Programming, etc. Identify, develop, and execute new opportunities for growth. Identify community programming tied into our charitable efforts.WHAT YOU'LL NEED 2-4 years of proven success in the craft beer industry and wholesale distribution management. A good understanding of IRI, Nielsen, VIP, and other industry leading analytic tools Must have a thorough understanding of the three-tiered system Understanding of pricing and general operations. Passion for the industry, a genuine sense of pride in all that you do, and a strong work ethic. Strong knowledge of the craft brewing industry. Highly motivated and a self-starter. Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the year. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work alone. Brilliant knowledge of the company, its history, and its product offerings. Strong communication skills and the ability to learn and master the selling skills process. Intermediate computer competence in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Ability to complete company's administration requirements on time. Must have a clean driving record as Motor Vehicle Record checks will be conducted on candidates.
