learning and more WHAT YOUR IMPACT WILL BE:The Director of Learning
and Workforce Development provides operational and thought
leadership for the development and implementation of Goodwill
Southeast Georgia's corporate training initiatives. The Director
will work in partnership with Goodwill's Leadership Teams to ensure
Goodwill has a progressive workforce development plan for all
positions within the organization. The Director will be innovative
and lead strategically, aligning work output to this strategy,
building and leading a high-performance organization, and working
in collaboration with other business leaders to build scalable and
effective learning systems to serve business partners and leverage
field and staff learning teams to meet Goodwill's purpose and
shared vision.As a DIRECTOR OF LEARNING AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT,
no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely
allow you the opportunity to positively impact our workforce
through:Spearheading the design, development, and implementation of
an organizational-wide Learning & Development strategy to
successfully transform the learning experience for all associates,
support the employee experience, and build a culture of continuous
learning.Analyzing and assessing training needs on an ongoing basis
to meet agency and program initiatives. Developing workforce
development plans to advance the skills of staff to advance the
mission of Goodwill.Partnering closely with our Leadership Team to
address development needs and create Learning and Development
solutions to address them, providing strategic-level advice,
guidance, and oversight to executives, human resource departments,
managers, and leaders, regarding conditions that may impact
strategic/operational goals and action plans.Building a culture of
continuous learning, ensuring DEI&B is woven into every aspect
of our learning and development curriculum and the Grow with
Goodwill journey.Developing and implementing training programs
along with delivering a consistent training experience across the
organization.Providing guidance and support to improve our training
and delivery. This includes regular research into adult education
best practices and innovative service delivery to people with
intellectual and developmental disabilities.Partnering with key
business stakeholders to ensure an understanding of current and
future Goodwill business strategy and framework, translating
short-term and long-term needs into appropriate learning systems
and approaches that build organizational confidence, trust, and
performance. Focus areas include the continued evolution of
Goodwill's Learning & Development function to ensure L&D is
best able to serve the growing skill/capability development needs
of all audiences in a dynamic organization.Overseeing the
organization's Learning & Development strategy through managing a
team that designs and develops programs that align with
organizational business needs and expected outcomes.Managing the
learning management system technologies and training personnel
required to develop, manage, and deliver training.Ensuring that the
design and delivery of training include consideration for varied
learning styles and makes accommodations for inclusion for learners
with a disability, including a blended approach to learning such as
classroom training, e-learning, coaching, and experiential
learning.Promoting a Person-Centered Strategy that promotes
self-advocacy on all levels and ensures this philosophy is
incorporated into all training.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:You might be

OF LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT, but there are a few skills that may
make you a good match and you should have from the
get-go:Association for Talent Development (ATD) Certified
Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification
preferred.You're a highly collaborative Leadership and Organization
Development leader with a minimum of 7 years of experience in
leading L&D Teams, including instructional design and multiple
platform delivery and minimum of three (3) years as a manager
leading an Organization Development team in the profit or
non-profit industries.Preferred Educational Requirements: Masters
in Industrial/Organizaiton Psychology preferred. Bachelor's Degree
in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, organizational
development, education, or related field required.Excellent
communication ability and ability to effectively communicate with
people of various educational and socio-economic
backgrounds.Experience working in a consulting capacity,
developing, and delivering training in a variety of
methodologies.The ability to work with a diverse workforce is
