Job Description:

The Assistant Director will assist in the daily operations of the Radiant Academy Child Development Center. They will ensure a safe and educational environment for young children, manage teaching staff, develop curricula in coordination with teachers, communicate with parents, and uphold the center's reputation.
We are seeking a qualified Child Development Assistant Director to oversee daily operations and foster a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include coordinating education programs compliant with regulations, maintaining facilities, supporting staff, and managing financial affairs.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a Child Development Center, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and possess a friendly demeanor, knowledge of childcare requirements, and a passion for supporting children and staff. Early childhood development experience is advantageous.
Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children.
  
• Coordinate curricula with staff to meet state and federal standards.
  
• Maintain safe facilities in compliance with laws and regulations.
  
• Evaluate and procure materials, equipment, and supplies.
  
• Support and develop teaching staff professionally.
  
• Hire, train, and onboard new staff, ensuring policy and legal compliance.
  
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with daycare standards.
  
• Communicate with parents about their children and policies.
  
• Oversee budget and financial management to ensure profitability.
  
• Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies.
  
  Requirements:
  
  
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
  
• Experience in early childhood education preferred.
  
• Licensure required; ABC vouchers accepted.
  
• Compliance with applicable child care laws.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  
• Organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  
• Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  
• Professional appearance and attitude.
  
• Experience in starting or managing a daycare is a plus.
