Department Information: 5 Trauma Surgery is a 32 bed med/surg unit. Our patient population is general surgery patients and trauma patients, with medicine overflow. -We care for a variety of patients, from those who have been in an accident or had a fall with injury to those who are needing surgical intervention for a complication/diagnosis that they have been given. - Our nurse to patient ratio for days is 5 or 6:1 with a free charge nurse and 5 or 6:1 on night with a free charge nurse. - Benefits: We offer you an excellent total
