  • NEW 10 BED UNIT for Regional Admissions
  • 2 years and at least 1 previous travel assignment, BLS, ACLS and license required.
  • Must be able to titrate drips
  • Candidates must have experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience and successful completion of at least 1 travel contract.

      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr nights
      • Every other weekend requirement
      • Holiday Requirements: Yes
        
      • No call or standby requirement.
      • Self-scheduling: Yes but shifts are moved when needed
      • Block scheduling is allowed.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Med/Tele
        • Beds: 10
        • Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:4 or sometimes 1:5
        • Required Certifications for Nurses: BLS, ACLS
        • Types of patients: Med/Tele patients
        • Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes
        • Charge Nurse takes assignment at night but not usually a patient assignment.
        • Nurse aids on the unit, Ratios: Yes - 1:10
        • RT Equipment: Nasal cannulas, BiPap, High Flow NC. No vents.
        • Monitor Techs read tele strips; RNs expected to be able to interpret rhythms
        • Unit/Department specific orientation: One day computer skills with basics.
