Job Description:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide
direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with physician
orders and resident care plans.
Perform resident assessments on admission, monitor ongoing health
status, and document findings in electronic records.
Update care plans as needed and communicate changes to staff.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician
instructions and document accordingly.
Respond to resident and family concerns, documenting actions
taken.
Conduct routine rounds to ensure safety and comfort, and assist
with activities of daily living.
Supervise and assist direct care staff in nursing activities.
Requirements include a current LPN license, CPR certification or
willingness to obtain, strong communication skills, ability to
prioritize, interest in geriatrics, leadership abilities, and basic
computer skills.
