qualified PCU RN in Savannah, Georgia, 31405! Pay Information
$2,053 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: PCU RN for ER Holding
Area Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - At least 2 years of experience in a similar
sized emergency department that cares for STEMI and stroke
patients. Description: PCU RN to provide care for patients being
boarded in the emergency room. Candidates must have experience in a
hospital of similar size and acuity. Candidates must have completed
at least one travel contract successfully. Nurse to patient ratios
are 1 to 4-5, adjusted for acuity. Common diagnoses include
cardiac, neuro, ortho, and critical care patients. All types of
drips may be administered. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7
and responds quickly for procedures. Nurses are required to read
their own telemetry strips and document them in charts. X-ray and
CT services are available in the emergency room with techs handling
transport. Self-scheduling is available when the schedule is open,
balancing departmental needs. Weekend requirements include at least
six weekend days/nights in a six-week schedule. Holidays are
assigned based on departmental needs. No call or standby
requirements are in place. There are no floating requirements.
Dress code includes navy scrubs. Department-specific orientation
occurs during the first week of the assignment. Charting system
