Colleton Medical Center is a 131-bed hospital that provides acute
care and surgical services to the Walterboro community. It is home
to private labor, delivery and recovery rooms as well as
state-of-the-art fetal monitoring and infant security. All
labor/maternal nurses are certified in Advanced Fetal Monitoring by
the Association of Women's Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
Walterboro is a city in Colleton County home to nearly 5,400
residents. Walterboro is just one hour from Charleston, Savannah
and Hilton Head. Known as the "Front Porch of the Lowcountry,"
