Job Description This large southeast GA medical center, with Savannah's only free-standing Children's hospital, is seeking a board certified/board eligible pediatric hospitalist physician. Qualified Candidates: - Board certified/eligible in pediatric hospitalist medicine - 26 weeks/year - 7-5 daily on weekdays - Home Call - infrequently need to come in - Week night call rotation amongst group - Weekend call coverage Friday night - Monday Morning and there is a backup on weekends - Work with pediatric residents - 14 bed general pediatric unit in Children's hospital Incentive/Benefits Package: - Employed opportunity through the hospital physician group - Competitive compensation - Comprehensive, flexible health and benefits package - 401k, PTO and CME time/allowance About the hospital: - 622-bed, regional referral center - Level I trauma center - Level III NICU, - Children’s hospital - Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI - Serves 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina - NurseOne and 24- hour call center - EPIC EMR System - Savannah campus of Mercer University School of Medicine - Dedicated to graduate medical education programs to train residents in diagnostic radiology, family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, surgery and fellowships in surgical critical care and sports medicine About the Children’s Hospital: - Regions only comprehensive children’s healthcare - 4 pediatric ORs - 18 bed Emergency Department - 50 inpatient pediatric beds including PICU - Dedicated pediatric sedation, child life, rehabilitation and many more.
