About The Position We are seeking a skilled Endocrinologist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity, starting on Sep 8, 2025, primarily involves outpatient care with minimal inpatient duties and on-call responsibilities. The schedule includes day shifts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing a balanced workload. Job Details - Location: West Virginia - Start Date: Sep 8, 2025 - LOA: 42 days - Provider Type Needed: Endocrinologist - Schedule: Day shifts, 8a-5p with specific rotations from Sep 8 to Dec 29, including some weekends and holidays on-call as required. Responsibilities and Duties - Deliver high-quality outpatient endocrinology services, which constitute 90% of the role. - Handle occasional inpatient consults and on-call endocrinology duties, making up about 10% of the responsibilities. - Engage in diagnosis, treatment, and management of endocrine disorders. - Provide patient education on disease management and prevention. - Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. - Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management. Additional Information - Required Board Certifications: Endocrinology - Must have experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. - Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS) - Must hold a valid West Virginia medical license.
