Hospitalist and Nocturnist positions. A Nocturnist role requires
working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be
comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to
deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. People
First in Savannah Local Team Collaboration: Join Memorial Health
University Medical Center’s close-knit team of 30 physicians and
seven advanced practice providers (APPs), including a dedicated
nocturnal team. Work alongside a diverse team with varied
geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who learn from
and support each other. Benefit from strong partnerships with
Sound’s clinical performance nurses, program managers, and
coordinators. Collaborate with hospital leaders and managers who
are eager to assist in your practice. Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
Chief residents are encouraged to apply and participate in Sound’s
Compass Program, a leadership track offering a monthly stipend
during your final year of residency. Practice in the Heart of the
Community Compensation ranges from $1,625 (day) to $1,850 (night )
per shift, with $400 moonlighting incentives for extra shifts above
the threshold. Collaborative scheduling ensures coverage for time
off. Key Responsibilities: Serve as part of an established team at
a tertiary care hospital, receiving transfers from surrounding
counties and across state lines. Day and swing admitter shifts
available, along with dedicated nocturnist support. Work in a
hospital with a closed ICU managed by intensivists; procedures are
not required, but maintaining privileges is welcomed. Collaborate
with a resident-led MET/RRT team—hospitalists do not respond to
codes. Utilize Epic EMR and access internal informatics platforms
for streamlined care. Living and Working in Savannah: Savannah is
