a Registered Nurse to join our 18 bed High Risk Perinatal unit for

Health University Medical Center! Job Summary and Qualifications As
a Registered Nurse (RN) on our High Risk Perinatal unit you will:
Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as
scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes
in patient status. Assess patient environment for any safety risks
and/or non-compliance with regulatory standards. Assesses patient
pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including
reassessments after appropriate intervention. Assess patient
condition for signs and symptoms of abuse or neglect. Reports any
indications of abuse or neglect to medical provider(s), nurse
leader, and/or appropriate agency. Perform procedures, monitoring,
or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents
the administration of care in the patient medical record in a
timely and thorough manner. Perform the administration of
prescribed medications. Monitors patient for therapeutic response.
Notifies provider and intervenes as appropriate in the event of an
unintended response to medication. What qualifications you will
need: Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma from an accredited
school is required Must hold a current Georgia RN license in good
standing is required Basic Life Support (BLS) – required within 30
days of hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within
90 days of hire Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – required
within 90 days of hire What qualifications you will need: -
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of
employment start date - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within
90 days of employment start date - Registered Nurse - Associate
Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma - Basic
Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30
