Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a 12-week, third shift assignment requiring ARRT and SCRQSA certifications and experience with Cerner EMR. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Hospital radiology department setting - Third shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM - 12-week assignment with some call requirements - Use of Cerner EMR for charting - Potential to float to nearby affiliated hospitals - Perform imaging procedures following established protocols under radiologist supervision - Assist with clinical education and supervision of student technologists - Prioritize patient safety and care during all diagnostic procedures - Practice radiation safety according to ALARA and regulatory standards - Complete required annual in-services and maintain active licensure - Effective communication with patients, families, and team members - All travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year and must take a 30–60 day break before returning - Background check and drug screen must be completed with the required vendor; allow at least two weeks for results /n /n Requirements/n - Active South Carolina or compact state Radiographer license required if applicable - ARRT (R) certification and SCRQSA Radiographer Certification required - BLS certification through the American Heart Association required - High school diploma or GED required; graduation from an accredited allied health program preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Demonstrated ability to perform and teach radiologic exams producing diagnostic images - Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards - Experience using Cerner EMR preferred - Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-656733.
