registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse
with PCU/Stepdown experience to provide specialized care in a
neuroscience stepdown unit within a renowned Level I trauma and
teaching hospital. This role offers the chance to work with a
dynamic team using EPIC charting in a Magnet-designated facility
known for excellence in patient care. Location and
Schedule:Situated in Charleston, SC, this position involves working
a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM),
including holidays as needed. Weekend coverage consists of 4-5
shifts over a 4-week period. On-call responsibilities are not
required. Floating within clinical scope may be necessary to
support unit needs. Qualifications and Experience: Active South
Carolina RN license or Multi-State Compact license required At
least 1 year of experience in PCU/Stepdown nursing; new graduates
with relevant clinical exposure are considered Current American
Heart Association (AHA) certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke
Scale competency Ability to work a 1:3 to 1:4 patient ratio
depending on acuity Flexibility to accommodate block schedules with
manager approval Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care to
neuroscience patients in a progressive care setting Collaborate
with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Adhere to
hospital policies and EPIC documentation standards Participate in
unit requirement coverage, including weekend shifts and occasional
