Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Charleston, South
Carolina, 29425! Job Title: Medical Surgical Float Nurse
Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration:

minimum required License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact
State RN License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous
charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 6:1
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system Description: Position
involves working within the medical surgical float pool. The nurse
will work three 12-hour night shifts per week. Weekend and holiday
rotations are required. The nurse will float to medical-surgical
floors as needed. Patient ratio may vary depending on the unit
assigned. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. It
is important for the candidate to be willing to accommodate
scheduling requests as needed. Local candidates within a 60-mile
radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis. RTO restrictions
apply; any requests for time off must be disclosed upon submission.
All candidates must be informed about potential hurricane season
assignments. During hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to
emergency response teams. Travelers should be aware of the
potential for changes in scheduling due to environmental factors. 5
