Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Charleston, SC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,696 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Observation Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License (SC or Multi State/Compact) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to assess airway - Experience with ambulatory and outpatient care - Knowledge of conscious sedation protocols - Skills in medication reconciliation - Phlebotomy experience - Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in an observation unit. The shift is 3x12-hour nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Weekend and holiday work is not required. The nurse will work within a staffing model that includes two RNs and one PCT, with possible variations on some nights. Building security is present overnight, enhancing safety for staff and patients. The unit cares for a variety of patients and services, including orthopedics and interventional radiology. The RN will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical nurses. Fast-paced environments will require effective communication and high-quality patient care. The nursing staff should be prepared for the possibility of floating to other observation units as needed. Local candidates may be considered based on specific criteria. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission, as late requests may not be accepted. Candidates must ensure that they possess a valid nursing license before starting. There may be additional requirements during hurricane season, so readiness for emergency assignments is essential. Modules are included in the hours worked and must be completed prior to the start date. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent patient care in a collaborative setting.
