The Department of radiation oncology provides a full range of radiation oncology services including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, Rapid Arc, Hyperarc, 3D Conformal, Radiotherapy, 4DCT, Cyberknife and Brachytherapy. Equipment includes: Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators with hyperarc capabilities 6 Degrees of Freedom Couch Varisource HDR Somotom Confidence Wide Bore CT Simulator with Varian RPM Gating Eclipse RTP system with velocity We have an experienced radiation oncology staff and a strong referral base. The radiation oncology South Carolina department is staffed with 6 radiation therapists, a medical physicist, a medical dosimetrist, RN and LPN, Nurse Practitioner, social worker, patient nurse navigator, dietician, administrative support staff, and oncology director.
