Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Charleston, South
Carolina, 29425! Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

required, ACLS and NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Travel experience in
a similar setting is preferred Description: This position is for a
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. The nurse will work three
12-hour night shifts. Weekend shifts will be required,
approximately 4-5 shifts per four-week period, along with holiday
rotation. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. This is a general
neurology and medical stroke unit for adult and geriatric patients.
All patient rooms are private, with some specially equipped for
continuous epilepsy monitoring. The unit also manages medical
stroke patients and various general neurology conditions, including
Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, seizures,
and strokes. Support for spine and epilepsy programs is a key part
of this role. Candidates should be aware that assignment to
emergency response teams may occur during hurricane season. The
peak months for hurricane activity are August and September. Prior
experience in the listed specialties is encouraged. The ability to
adapt to unit needs and float between similar units may be
required. Travelers may be accepted, including those without
previous experience in this specific setting. Compliance with all
