Carolina, 29425! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

years Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience Experience in cardiovascular
and pediatric care preferred Ventricular Assist Device experience
is highly preferred License: Current RN license in the state or
Multi-State/Compact RN license Certifications: PALS BLS (American
Heart Association) ACLS (preferred, American Heart Association)
Must-Have: Ability to provide care for diverse pediatric cardiac
conditions Willingness to float within facility needs Availability
for 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule Full participation in
holiday rotation Description: Registered Nurses in this unit
provide specialized care for pediatric patients with congenital
heart disease. The nursing staff operates with a patient-to-nurse
ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, based on acuity. The unit focuses on cardiac
surgical and medical diagnoses. Common procedures include cardiac
surgery, heart transplant, and cardiac catheterization. Nurses
administer ECMO, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and
complex supportive therapies as needed. The staffing model includes
a mix of registered nurses, patient care technicians, and unit
secretaries. Interdisciplinary support is available through
respiratory therapy, pediatric dietitians, and pediatric
pharmacists. All patient beds are monitored, ensuring high levels
of patient safety and care. The average daily census on the unit is
around 26 patients within a 29-bed facility. Nurses in this unit
play a crucial role in the care and management of critically ill
