In this pivotal role, you will coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by the clinical staff. You will work closely with all members of the healthcare team to ensure that patients on the medical-surgical floor receive exemplary care. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will positively impact patient outcomes and enhance the efficiency of care delivery in our fast-paced medical-surgical units. Coordinate nursing operations and activities to ensure efficient and quality patient care. Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, and update care plans as required. Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and collaboration to enhance patient treatment and recovery. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, encouraging professional growth and adherence to healthcare regulations. Monitor and ensure compliance with all legal, safety, health, and quality regulations. Manage patient records and documentation. Participate in the development and implementation of departmental training programs. Engage in continuous quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiencies. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Expert knowledge in medical-surgical nursing practices Ability to supervise and train staff effectively Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient in EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment BLS/ACLS certification Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN) preferred
