HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art hospital facilities. As an ER RN, you will provide critical care to patients in a high-stress emergency room environment, working to quickly assess conditions and stabilize patients as efficiently as possible. This role requires superb decision-making skills, a compassionate approach, and resilient ability to work under pressure. You will play a vital role in our mission to care for and improve human life, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through the highest standards of care. Provide immediate medical attention to emergency room patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Stabilize patients for further treatment and transport within the facility. Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patients' response to treatment. Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and other medical staff to form a high-performing emergency care team. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all confidentiality and health regulation protocols. Educate patients and their families on continuation of care at home immediately post-discharge. Proficient in emergency room procedures and protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment. BLS/CPR certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred.
