Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our team of
compassionate healthcare professionals. In this role, you will
provide critical care to patients in emergency situations, ensuring
high-quality medical attention in a fast-paced environment. As a
PRN nurse, you will have the flexibility to work on an as-needed
basis, which requires adaptability and a strong commitment to
patient care. This position includes assessing patient conditions,
administering treatments, and collaborating with a
multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive emergency care.
Assess patients’ condition and swiftly determine their needs to
provide immediate and effective treatment. Stabilize patients with
acute health problems, including administering medications and
assisting with various procedures. Collaborate with physicians,
paramedics, and other medical staff to form a high-functioning
emergency care team. Record patient care effectively and ensure
confidentiality and accuracy of documentation. Educate patients and
their families on follow-up care instructions. Strong clinical
skills in a high-pressure environment Excellent decision-making and
prioritization skills Proficient in using medical software for
patient care documentation Ability to communicate effectively with
diverse patients and teams Adaptive and resilient in unpredictable
