Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile. Conduct pre- and post-operative patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and utilizing equipment safely Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and communicate any concerns to the attending surgeon Educate patients and their families on preoperative and postoperative care Collaborate with the surgical team and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Proficient in general and specialized surgical procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Attentive to details, especially with regards to surgical sterilization and patient safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
