HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated Surgical Stepdown RN to join our team, providing exceptional care in a high-acuity environment at our state-of-the-art facilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in patient recovery, working closely with surgical teams to offer comprehensive post-operative care, managing complex patient conditions, and ensuring the continuity of care during the critical recovery phase. Monitor and assess post-operative patients transitioning from surgery to recovery. Administer prescribed medications, track vitals, and update patient records. Communicate effectively with surgeons and healthcare team to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and their families on post-surgery care and recovery procedures. Implement patient care plans and interventions as needed, ensuring the highest standards of safety and effectiveness. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Proficient in using medical software and patient management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate patient care with a focus on quality and efficiency. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license. BLS/ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
