Job Description Summary The Department of Orthopaedics and
Physical Medicine is hiring an Orthopaedic oncology physician as a
faculty member in our oncology division. This hire will serve and
support all missions in the department with clinical, research, and
teaching responsibilities. The oncology physician will increase
patient access to our Orthopaedic oncology patient population while
also increasing their surgical conversion rate per clinical
appointment. Strategically, the Orthopaedic oncologist will travel
to our ambulatory and outreach clinics in South Carolina. The
Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine has 35 Faculty
members serving the clinical, research, and education missions. The
Department delivers the region’s most comprehensive range of
musculoskeletal services, encompassing every Orthopaedic
subspecialty. We treat more than 35,000 patients each year with the
most innovative technology and sophisticated procedures. The
preferred candidate will have a robust clinical background as well
as a sincere interest in both education and research and possess

level to height of 36 inches, unassisted. (Infrequent) Ability to
lower objects, up to 15 lbs., from height of 36 inches to floor
level, unassisted. (Infrequent) Ability to push/pull objects, up to
15 lbs., unassisted. (Infrequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision,
corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to
see and recognize objects close at hand. (Frequent) Ability to see
and recognize objects at a distance. (Frequent) Ability to
determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
(Continuous) Good peripheral vision capabilities. (Continuous)
Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction. (Continuous)
Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor
