Job Description:

This large southeast GA medical center, with Savannah's only free-standing Children's hospital, is seeking a board certified/board eligible pediatric hospitalist physician.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified/eligible in pediatric hospitalist medicine
• 26 weeks/year
• 7-5 daily on weekdays
• Home Call - infrequently need to come in
• Week night call rotation amongst group
• Weekend call coverage Friday night - Monday Morning and there is a backup on weekends
• Work with pediatric residents
• 14 bed general pediatric unit in Children's hospital

• Regions only comprehensive children s healthcare
• 4 pediatric ORs
• 18 bed Emergency Department
• 50 inpatient pediatric beds including PICU
• Dedicated pediatric sedation, child life, rehabilitation and many more.
