Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens
• Location: Savannah, Georgia (31419)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 26 weeks minimum, with potential for extension
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,020 - $5,290
• Shift: Day shift, 8-hour shifts (16-hour days as needed)
• Hours per Week: 32
• MD Supervision: Yes (1 MD to 4 CRNAs)
• Charting System: Meditech
• Stipends: Lodging/housing and car rental/mileage stipends provided

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Current license as a registered professional nurse (RN)
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• At least 1 year of recent CRNA experience (travel CRNA or hospital-based preferred)
• Ability to travel between and work at multiple hospital sites in Savannah as needed
• Strong clinical skills in general anesthesia and perioperative care

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain or verify informed consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and plan with patients and families
• Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general cases
• Continuously monitor patients' physiological status and perform clinical interventions as needed
• Collaborate with supervising MDs, surgeons, and other CRNAs in a team-based anesthesia care model
• Complete accurate documentation in Meditech and follow institutional policies and safety protocols
