Job Description:
About the Position Position/Specialty: X-Ray Tech Shift: Days,
M-F, 8:30a-5p Weekend Req (Y/N)?: No Holiday Req (Y/N)?: No Call
Requirement (Y/N)?: No, Primarily scheduled for MUSC East Cooper
Medical Pavilion but may or may not be floated to the 4 other
outpatient locations (MUSC Health West Ashley, MUSC Health North,
MUSC Health Chuck Dawley, MUSC Nexton), but they are not that far
from each other-float will be scheduled ahead of time
Required/Preferred Years of Experience Required: 1years X-Ray
experience Accepts first time travelers: Yes, with at least 1 year
X-Ray experience Certs/License Required: BLS, ARRT, and SCRQSA
Certification/Licenses accepted: ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) Pending
State License accepted: SC license must be in hand at time of start
Required Experience: Ortho, Pain, c-arm work with arthrograms and
ASC OR Preferred Experience: Siemens experience Radiation Badge
REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT
provide radiation badges to travelers Miscellaneous Open to
accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment but not
guaranteed. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. At 10% less than the posted
bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of
submission. Approval will be based on facility need. Guaranteed
Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Hurricane Season Travelers should be aware that during hurricane
season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency
response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do
not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane
season runs from June through November each year. The peak months
for hurricane activity are August and September.
