Department Information 0390301 - Campus Postal Services Job Summary Serve as Postal Clerk for Georgia Southern University, an extension of the United States Postal Services (USPS), to offer all postal services of the USPS and other mall and package carriers to the University and public; and serve as a route mail carrier, who delivers and picks up mail from all University and associated departments. The Postal Clerk will also assist Printing Services. Responsibilities

• Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
• Pick up, receive, sort and distribute mall and packages for all University constituents
• Provide postal service related functions, including cashiering, phone and e-mail communication, resolving customer printing and postal issues, and referring customers to campus resources
• Ensure Postal operations comply with departmental policies and USPS regulations
• Provide printing and postal information in response to inquiries and refer customers to upper management

• Perform data entry functions utilizing university, departmental and accounting systems
• Inventory supplies and generate restocking requests
• Serve as key holder and perform accounting duties Required Qualifications Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalentRequired Experience
