Position Summary:The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a critical part of Circa Lighting's growth strategy. The BDR is responsible growing Circa Lighting's business by calling on Interior Designers in non-showroom markets. A successful BDR is an active listener, has a compelling sales personality and a drive to chase and close new business from cold calls and warm leads. This role will focus on building relationships with and educating customers and prospects on Circa Lighting's products and services. The BDR position is an inside sales position with 100% of the customer interaction being virtual; utilizing phone, email, zoom, and social media. This position can be located in Savannah or remote.Responsibilities:Utilize existing customer and target lists to contact potential clients to establish rapport and schedule meetingsExecute structured warm and cold calling plan to a target list in excess of 400 accountsWork collaboratively with other departments to ensure a best in class client experienceConduct virtual presentations dailyEffectively present Circa Lighting's value proposition to influence potential customersUtilize CRM to effectively manage sales call cadence, pipeline, and customer follow-upAbility to work autonomously through the sales process from lead to converted saleQualifications:3+ years inside sales experienceExperience in interior design, building products, or home furnishingsBachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent experienceExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with experience in public speakingSuperior organizational skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing prioritiesKeen eye for design and creativityAbility to achieve results both independently and through collaborationHigh energy, independent, proactive, and self-motivated
