Our work depends on a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer joining our team to support the United States Postal Service (USPS) activities located remotely.You will be responsible for determining requirements, architecting, developing, deploying, and supporting bots and robotic automation in support of organizational tasks and workflows.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. In this role, a typical day will include:Setting up, developing, testing, and monitoring automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of errorMonitoring and maintaining automation post-implementation and resolving any potential issues to ensure smooth business operationsProducing process documentationConduct value stream mapping and ROI calculations to measure successes and refine processes going forwardEnsuring quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes and prevent any potential bugsArchitecting and developing solutions from business requirementsArchitect a bot designDeveloping RPAs and integrating into systemConducting RPA/Bot testing including developing test plans, test automations, etc.Debugging and troubleshooting your code and other teammates workDemonstrating proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python or .NETDemonstrating proficiency in UIPath softwareDemonstrate solid understanding of UiPath Robotic Enterprise Framework implementationBuilding RPA bots to insert data into a UIWorking with databases, such as SQL Server and OracleDeveloping architecture, design documentationWork extensively with both technical and non-technical team members.Working to design, develop and implement RPA systemsWork in a results-oriented, independent environment with minimal supervisionWHAT YOULL NEED:At least 5 years of professional programmer or web developer experience2 years of UIPath development experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in an Agile environment working with tools such as MS DevOpsAttention to detail and creating clarity when dealing with ambiguityAbility to work cross functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentStrong analytical skillsExperience working in a government context or with government customersBA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experienceWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:Full-flex work week401K with company matchInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerChallenging work that makes a real impact on the world around youDiverse, highly collaborative teamsPlease Note: The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years.
