We are currently seeking a Technical Support Supervisor to join our
team in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina (US-SC), United States
Job Responsibilities Include:
- The Desktop Field Tech Supervisor will supervise a team's daily
operations to ensure support for all client workstations and
peripheral devices like printers, scanners, and barcode
- They are responsible for installing and maintaining all works
stations and supporting devices at the client site.
- Supervise team typically responsible for high number of
transactions or processes.
- Recommends and takes action on hiring and disciplinary
- Provides first-line leadership to a small field service team
and/or a small supplier relationship
- Suggests process improvements to field operations, including
- Experience in most issues that may arise, although require
guidance with new assignments or assignments outside normal scope
- Performs advanced troubleshooting techniques to address complex
- Independently assesses and adjusts technical solutions based on
the specific client issue.
- Addresses escalated technical issues from less experienced team
- Works autonomously in providing on-site technical support to
- Prepares documentation to record and track project status.
- Manages escalated client situations with a focus on building
positive client relationships.
- Excellent understanding of internal service processes and able
to articulate these to clients.
- Strong technical and product knowledge.
- Minimum of 4 years of Field Technical Supervisor
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and
- Minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in understanding of the
fundamentals of network, server, and desktop administration,
installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, and equipment.
