Help at Home is hiring a Residential Home Administrator!

We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Home Administrator to manage and oversee all operational aspects of our licensed personal care home. They will provide leadership and management to support the budgetary, administrative, compliance, and operational components of the personal care home. They will also promote a positive company image within their community and create a high-quality client experience by providing care to clients and communicating with clients, their family members, support staff and agency representatives.

Financial/Employee Management:

  • Utilize spend down sheets to document expenditures
  • Review monthly P&L and complete variance reports
  • Monitor client charges for accuracy
  • Manage labor costs to ensure staffing ratio is adequate to census and minimizes overtime
  • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff


  • Develop and maintain positive community and referral contacts
  • Review sales plans and identify potential sources of referrals and realistic outcomes

Resident Care Management:

  • Ensure quality care and client satisfaction for all residents.

  • Ensure compliance with all medical records, medication management and nutrition
  • Document and report errors and corrective actions
  • Ensure that compliance with LOCs and Care Plans are maintained     

Quality Improvement & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with state regulatory/program rules by passing quarterly compliance audits and state surveys with no more than 2 tags
  • Assess areas of risk for residents/staff, rectify these risks, and notify proper authorities of circumstances or situations that present possible health hazards
  • Communicate with the Executive Director about any situations involving risk management, such as employee and/or client incidents, accidents or injuries
  • Complete employee and resident chart audits



  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration or a similar field preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role that included managing budgets, employees, marketing and compliance, preferably in a long-term, assisted living or group home
  • Experience performing nursing assistant duties 
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding assisted living facilities
  • Knowledge of nutrition, menu planning and food preparation
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • CPR, First Aid and Fire Safety certifications 
  • Current health physical and TB screening results
  • Acceptable criminal background report and fingerprints
  • Availability to work day, evening and night shifts
  • Availability to be On-Call
