family.A The primary responsibility of an Assistant Superintendent
is to aid the Superintendent with on-site coordination for wood
framing, structural tie-downs and siding on construction projects,
including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment. An
Assistant Superintendent ensures that specifications are being
strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within
budget. Assistant Superintendent shall be responsible for
scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety on
jobs assigned by Superintendent and/or Construction Manager.Job
Purpose: Assistant Superintendent aids Superintendent with framing
and siding projects by planning organizing and controlling projects
in a fast-paced environment for turn-key framing contractor. Must
possess good computer skills, organizational and people skills.

RESPONSIBILITIESComplies with all PPE standards and is aware of all
safety practices, follows safety rules and procedures, complies
with all legal regulations.Maintains and enforces a safe, secure
and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards
and procedures, complying with legal regulationsSolid written and
oral skills, supports all functions related to framing, tie-down,
siding and Zip tape operations on multiple projectsRepresents
company with professionalism at all timesMust have a solid
knowledge of framing, siding, Zip tape and tie-down practices and
be able to interact with sub-contractors and employeesMust possess
problems solving skillsExpected to meet with inspectors and
performs repairs during inspection.Performs punch work as needed,
but no more than 25% of weekly work scheduleStacks lumber,
cleans-up lots, etc. as neededMay make deliveries of fill-in
building materials to job sites and assist with material placement
and movementQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Reports directly to
Superintendents and/or Construction ManagersIdentify conflicts in
construction progress and communicate them to project team for
resolution.Update and Maintain Appwright.Daily safety
inspectionsExpected to meet with inspectors and performs repairs
during inspection.Performs small punch list items pertaining to
inspection items as needed, but no more than 25% of weekly
timeStacks lumber, cleans-up lots when necessaryMay make deliveries
of fill-in building materials to job sites and assist with material
placement and movementSchedule subcontractors, consultants, and
vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.Walk and
inspect all assigned units daily.Monitor activities and assist in
future planning.Perform quality control duties and responsibilities
regarding the work being performed.Ensure subcontractor has
corrected all deficiencies identified.Perform job progress and
completion punch list identification and completion.Ensure that
subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted
scope of work.Assist in coordination of required inspections.Issue
notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regard to quality of
work or scheduling.Submit and track needed change orders. (General
Contractor and Sub-Contractor)Must be able to lift and move lumber
and metal materialsMust be able to lift materials weighing up to 75
