Job Description:

Child Life Specialist needed to provide skilled social services to pediatric patients and their families in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Our team provides support for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of children and their families, allowing them to focus on what matters most.

We are seeking a nationally certified Child Life Specialist to join our team. As a Child Life Specialist at Agape Care, you will provide skilled social services to patients on an intermittent basis in the home, working in accordance with physician's orders and the plan of care. Your role will be to assist families along their healthcare journeys with love and compassion.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• 
  
• Assess patients to identify psychosocial, financial, and environmental needs
  
• Communicate significant findings and changes in condition to the Supervisor and physician
  
• Implement the plan for patient safety and participate in the development of the Plan of Care
  
• Provide skilled services and interventions in accordance with accepted standards of practice
  
• Counsel and instruct patients and families on following the Plan of Care
  
  
  **Requirements:**
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and CCLS certification from the Child Life Council
    
  • 2 years of experience as a Child Life Specialist in a healthcare setting
    
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
    
  • Reliable transportation and meets all applicable agency policies and procedures related to health screening and required testing
