ID: 49615410 Shift: 10 HR Days 07:00-17:00 Description: Job Specific Notes: CT Tech Adult & PediatricMemorial Health University Medical CenterFull-Time Days (10 Hour Shifts) - Rotating Weekends Job Summary and Qualifications Seeking a Computerized Tomography Technologist to perform CT diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist. Working under the direction of the medical imaging management team, you will directly impact patient care through your knowledge, skills and abilities in diagnostic imaging, scheduling, transporting and maintaining inventory.What you will do in this role: You will operate diagnostic equipment, verify images and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. You will be responsible for ensuring that proper diagnostic information is provided through the production of high-quality CT scans. You will perform CT exams on a variety of different body parts in a timely manner. You will complete appropriate history forms and technologist exam sheet. You will start I.V.s and check labs as needed.What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program. RT certification from ARRT required. GA ARRT required Minimum of 1 year of experience as Radiology and CT Technologist is preferred.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Additional are willing to train a non-CT certified candidate with strong acute care X-Ray (or other) experience but ideally need (to start, while we fill some key roles) at least CT training or some experience.Mixed (rotating weekendsNights (Weekdays OnlyNights (rotating weekendsEvenings (rotating weekendsDays (weekdays onlyDays (weekdays only)Description for Job Board: Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks:91
