The Construction Operations Coordinator is essential to ensuring our stores have the environment they need to provide a pleasant and positive customer experience. In this role, you will have a front row seat to the general operations of the Construction Department and work to ensure that logistical needs are met for our team members. You will collaborate with the Construction Department teams to assist in tasks and projects related to new store builds, as well as the maintenance and repairs of existing store facilities. Your organizational and time management skills will be your keys to excelling in this role and to becoming a vital member of the Construction Team and of the organization.ResponsibilitiesReconcile and process vendor invoices, including master accounts; create and process purchase order requisitions, and process check requests. Serve as Department liaison between department vendors and the Accounts Payable team, to ensure vendor invoices are processed in a timely fashion, as well as to setup new vendors. Engage with utility providers to resolve service and/or billing issues.Partner with the construction project manager(s) for each construction project to:Prepare General Contractor contract packets, including requisition creationResponsible for setting up new utility accounts with utility providers including coordination with local providers and confirmation of active utilities; confirm local jurisdiction requirements, as neededTrack daily progress of construction projects through collection of daily reports and project comments, maintaining project tracker Track all expenses/ budgets related to each projectPrepare and maintain reports as needed to the construction team Upload pertinent information to project tracker such as lien waivers, warranties, daily reports, MSDS Sheets, etc. Work closely with the Sr. Construction Operations Manager to facilitate special projects, ensuring projects are completed on time with high quality deliverables.Promote Company initiatives, events, as well as holidays to celebrate our Company's winning culture.Assist with other functions in the Construction Department, as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma required.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinate processes with accounting, outside vendors and project managers.Must be a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter with ability to learn quickly.Minimum of 1 to 3 years in an office environment support function role.
